There are an enormous number of different diet programs. My advice is to research a few until you find one that you can follow without too much difficulty.

I don't believe that one program is right for everyone. You need to see if you can eat the foods is recommends. For example, a vegetarian would be hard pressed to follow the Atkins diet. Is one right and one wrong? No. Just individual eating preferences.

I suggest trying one that offers a free week or enough information to feel comfortable with the program. Oh, and don't forget to check with your doctor regarding a weight loss program....
